Intermingling

One of the core values of the Cité is offering the students and researchers from all over the world an international and multicultural environment where they can live and study together. Thus, every house needs to provide about 30% of its rooms to students from other countries and accommodate 30% of its nationals in other houses. The Houses have adopted a so-called intermingling protocol specifying the terms making this mixing possible.

Thus, any admitted candidate may be offered the option of being placed in another house. It is important to note that to refuse the mixing is equivalent to refusing to be admitted or readmitted in the MEC. One may request a mixing in writing, specifying the desired House.
