The committee meets several times a year, according to needs and availabilities, to accept applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"list-left-60\"><li>The files of doctoral and master\u2019s students are prioritized and reviewed as soon as they are received.<\/li><li>Other requests (student exchanges, internships, etc.) are processed at the beginning of June for admission in the fall, and in October for admission in the winter.<\/li><li>The MEC is committed to supporting diversity with regard&nbsp; to fields of study and the university of origin.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"has-inter-22-regular-font-size\">Short visits<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The directors of the MEC are the admission committee. committee, per month<\/td>\n                                            <td>2,00 \u20ac<\/td>\n                                            <td>Per renting fee and per person<\/td>\n                                    <\/tr>\n                    <\/tbody>\n    <\/table>\n    <\/div>\n  <div class=\"table__nav\">\n        <div class=\"table__nav-prev\">\n                    <a href=\"#prev\"><img src=\"https:\/\/etudiantscanadiens.org\/app\/themes\/mec_theme\/assets\/images\/chevron-left.svg\" ><\/a>\n        <\/div>\n        <div class=\"table__nav-next\">\n                    <a href=\"#next\"><img src=\"https:\/\/etudiantscanadiens.org\/app\/themes\/mec_theme\/assets\/images\/chevron-right.svg\" ><\/a>\n        <\/div>\n  <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:45px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"has-inter-22-regular-font-size\">Application rules<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The academic rates are only applicable for stays of over three months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The monthly rates for residents accepted by the admissions committee are for the first day to the last day of the calendar month (on the 30th and 31st of the month).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The half-month rate may apply at the beginning and the end of your stay (for an arrival after the 16<sup>th<\/sup> of the month, or a departure before the 15<sup>th<\/sup> of the month).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Possibility of a single additional night on arrival and\/or departure (beyond this night, 1\/2 month renting fee will be charged).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"list-left-60\"><li>65 \u20ac for a standard room<\/li><li>75 \u20ac for a large room<\/li><li>85 \u20ac for a studio with an attic<\/li><li>95 \u20ac for a studio with a mezzanine<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The summer rate (+ 50 <strong>\u20ac<\/strong>) applies from July 1st to August 31 only for these students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the event of early departure, a notice period of one month is required, to which is added an indemnity equivalent to 50% of the monthly fee as compensation for the loss incurred by the House as a result of this breach of commitment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For summer 2024, special conditions will apply due to the Summer Olympics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"has-inter-22-regular-font-size\">Services which are included<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"list-left-60\"><li>Internet (Wi-Fi and wired)<\/li><li>Cleaning once a week<\/li><li>Bedding&nbsp;: duvet, pillow, pillow case, duvet cover set, flat sheet and mattress protector (sheets are washed every two weeks)<\/li><li>Towels are supplied in the studios and apartments<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Effective as of September 1, 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:45px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"has-inter-22-regular-font-size\">Summer fees<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"list-left-60\"><li>From July 1 to August 31, only for these students.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:45px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"has-inter-22-regular-font-size\">Housing assistance&nbsp;:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"list-left-60\"><li>Housing assistance may be provided by the Caisse d\u2019Allocations Familiales (CAF) each month to help you pay your rent, if you have a low income.<\/li><li>For more information:&nbsp;: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.caf.fr\/allocataires\/droits-et-prestations\/s-informer-sur-lesaides\/logement-et-cadre-de-vie\/les-aides-personnelles-au-logement\">http:\/\/www.caf.fr\/allocataires\/droits-et-prestations\/s-informer-sur-lesaides\/logement-et-cadre-de-vie\/les-aides-personnelles-au-logement<\/a><\/li><li>You can make your request once you have settled in at the House.
