Dealing with a pandemic far from our respective countries was not easy. The MEC and its residents went through this period in a spirit of mutual aid and union, and we celebrated with joy the end of a year unlike any other!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our celebration gala took place on Friday June 18th: an unforgettable party that will remain<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>forever in our memories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>THE PRESENCE OF THE HONORABLE ISABELLE HUDON<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>During our gala, we had the presence of the Honorable Isabelle Hudon, Ambassador of Canada in France, for the presentation of the student involvement scholarships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The scholarship is sponsored by the Ambassador and is awarded to a group of MEC residents selected at the start of the year to actively contribute to the experience of living together at the MEC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We congratulate the laureates Iris Nikolopoulou, Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Houle, Michaela Sullivan-Paul and Mich\u00e8le Roukoz for the fine work carried out during this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many thanks to the Embassy of Canada in France and to the Ambassador for the presentation of the certificates. What an honor!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>THANKS TO ALL WHO ARE PART OF THIS BEAUTIFUL STORY<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Each of our residents and former residents are part of our history. Each with their own personality, and background.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So many memories built together!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After all, as mentioned Mr. Panet-Raymond (the Chairman of the Committee in Canada) in his speech, \u201cin the face of challenges, in the face of unforeseen events, in the face of confinements at a time so delicate for the whole world, you have made the MEC a family!\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The last academic year was very special.
