We are pleased to announce that Mr. Robert Panet-Raymond, Chairman of the MEC Board of Directors, has been honoured with an appointment to the Order of Canada, one of Canada’s highest civilian honours, in recognition of his extraordinary contribution to Canadian society.
“A renowned administrator, Robert Panet-Raymond is also recognized for his philanthropic work. In particular, he has supported the development of the Maison des étudiants canadiens in Paris by chairing its Canadian Committee, and contributed to the meteoric growth of the Centre d’éducation physique et des sports de l’Université de Montréal. An associate professor at Polytechnique Montréal and a former corporate executive, he stands out for his commitment to business and finance, particularly as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Autorité des marchés financiers”.
