How to stay at the MEC for short visits
You’d like to visit Paris for a short period of time ?
Look no further than the MEC! We offer a unique place to stay, close to downtown, with a warm atmosphere and a magnificent decor.
At the MEC :
- You’ll discover an alternative to traditional hotels ;
- You’ll live in the heart of the Cité internationale universitaire de Paris;
- You’ll have a private apartment or studio, as well as spaces shared with a unique community;
- You’ll enjoy the rhythm of life in a student residence.
What we offer
We offer short stays mainly to professors and researchers, but also to tourists and groups who are visiting the City of Light (depending on availabilities).
Visitors who want to stay at the MEC during the academic year must be at least 20 years-old, or 18 during the summer.
Our studios and apartments are located in the heart of Paris, only a few minutes away from everything. They offer all the amenities at a very competitive price, to allow you to enjoy a pleasant and distinctive stay.
Studios are available all year long for short visits.

Note 1. All payments of less than 300 € are payable in full at time of reservation, and are not refundable.
Note 2. For any reservation of more than 300 €, payment (other than the 300 € already paid at time of reservation) is payable upon arrival.
Note 3. On your check-in, you will be required to pay the full amount of your stay (non-refundable). In addition, a deposit of 300 euros will be retained and returned at the end of the stay (except in the case of damage, breakages, etc.).
Note 4. Studios are rented for a maximum of two people, who must be named at the time of reservation.
Note 5. Short stay visitors are not allowed to welcome guests in the evening.
Note 6. Former academic residents enjoy a 10% discount.
