For this fourth edition of the Nuits de la poésie, the Cité internationale universitaire de Paris vibrated to the rhythm of words and emotions. A rich and abundant program attracted a large audience to celebrate poetic art in all its forms.
Throughout the week, vernissages, shows, performances, readings, competitions and even a poetry parade brought the Cité’s pavilions to life. So many opportunities for artists and the public to meet, exchange ideas and experience moments of pure poetry together.
This 2025 edition was held in a special context, as it also marked the centenary of the Cité internationale. On this occasion, poetry was more than ever in the spotlight, in dialogue with the other arts: music, visual arts, theater and much more.
And to top it all off, we had the immense honor of welcoming Dany Laferrière, writer, academician and leading figure in French-language literature, as patron of this year’s event. His inspiring presence brought a special energy to the event.
