A colorful first edition: the MEC on the podium of the inter-house go-kart race!
For the very first time this year, the Cité internationale universitaire de Paris, in collaboration with the Maison Internationale AgroParisTech (MINA), organized a unique go-kart race bringing together the various houses and foundations on campus. We were delighted to take part in this dynamic event! And all in collaboration with the Collège d’Espagne, in a festive and convivial atmosphere.
The karts, entirely designed and built by MINA students, were unveiled last April. It was an opportunity for our residents to see the karts for the first time and also to assemble them, at the same time as the other Cité teams.
Since the launch, our team has been training tirelessly on the Cité’s magnificent grounds, and has customized the karts in the colors of the MEC and Spain!
The fruit of these efforts came to fruition on race day: our team brilliantly finished in 2ᵉ place out of 11 participating teams! A magnificent place for a first edition!
A huge well done to all the team members, as well as to our many supporters who responded with energy and enthusiasm! One thing’s for sure: we’ll be there for the next editions!
