It was with great pride that we officially launched the MECAvenir campaign, an ambitious renovation project for the Maison des Étudiants Canadiens (MEC) located in the heart of the Cité internationale universitaire de Paris.
On April 10, the Salon Wilson hosted this landmark event, highlighted by the presence of the Honorable Stéphane Dion, Canada’s Ambassador to France, as well as numerous guests committed to our mission. Their support testifies to the importance of preserving and modernizing this emblematic place of welcome, exchange and outreach for internationally mobile Canadian students, researchers and artists.
Through this campaign, we hope to make the MEC an even more welcoming, inspiring and sustainable space, adapted to the needs of future generations.
We believe that the student experience also depends on an environment that matches the academic and cultural ambitions of its residents. The MECAvenir project is an invitation to build a meaningful future together.
