The House of Canadian Students is proud of its many residents with their admirable and sometimes even extraordinary backgrounds.
In order to put these great talents and amazing stories in the spotlight, we created in March 2021 a series of videos for our social media called “Prenons le thé et jasons” (let’s have a cup of tea and chat).
The MEC director France Mainville invites two or three residents at a time to discuss their backgrounds over a cup of tea.
INSPIRING STORIES
Thanks to the principle of “brassage” (exchange) at the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris, the MEC welcomes Canadians from all provinces of Canada as well as students from other countries, which makes our house very alive and cosmopolitan.
The hallways and common rooms of our house are always full of cultural exchange. Conversations on a wide variety of topics in French and in English or even in other languages is a very common scene in our house, which we wanted to convey through our series.
You’ll find conversations between longtime friends, friends the MEC has gathered, or even between residents who have backgrounds in completely different fields.
